An Emotion of Fleeting Moments

My art expresses the fleeting journey as the moments of the golden hours fade and bloom again and again.

I paint in an Open Impressionistic style and my brushstrokes represent a deliberate patience like aged bourbon—measured, matured, and rich with character as I marry the colors next to each other.

This engages your eyes to do the blending. And from across the room you see one painting, and upon closer viewing you see the depths of what is behind the painting which takes you on a journey of how the painting was created.

I leave cracks between some of the strokes to reveal an under-painting which gives the finished painting an organic and cohesive effect like grout in a mosaic.
